Basically, these agencies are contacted by companies who are looking to either bolster or revamp their staff.
They can also be known as a temp agency. This is a continually growing industry. This encompasses everything from sales to design. If you have talent in animation or graphic design, the job market is constantly looking for someone with your skillset. This can range from user interaction and design for websites and store fronts to graphic design for new video games. The market varies a lot on application, but in it world where everything seems to be becoming digital, there are many jobs for you here.
3. Marketing.
Marketing has been changing a lot in the recent couple of years. Instead of sending out prints, there has been a massive influx of social media marketers that will link up with a company and sell their products for them. These people are commonly known as social media influencers. They’ll have a promo code given to them in which their customers or those that they’re bringing to the store will insert their code and get a discount on the product. Then, because the company sees that they’re using your/their code, they will send you a percentage of the purchase amount.
There are also more conservative areas or marketing as well in which you would work for a firm to promote the sales and connections of a single product. This can be applied with business strategy jobs as well where you will determine the direction that a company or product is taking and try to redirection it towards a different end goal or target market to ensure a larger revenue stemmed from that product. Both are effective, but totally different ways of marketing.
4. Construction.
It seems that while the world was put on stand still because of the pandemic, many cities thought that this would be a good time to start various construction projects. With travel cut down a little and stores closing up temporarily there is less foot traffic to be impeded. Companies are looking for more workers to keep up their mandate from the city and construction projects that they’re looking to get done. If you’re good with your hands and would be able to work in construction, it can be good money. Also, if you can work heavy machinery or have your licensing for this, you can make even more because of your special skill set. Make sure to add this in your resume when you submit it.
5. Tech Support.
There was a large influx in internet usage and technology and entertainment purchases when the lockdown happened. Lots of people were stuck inside with nothing to do so they would but something to take up their time. Unfortunately, many of these people who didn’t have media before didn’t really know how to use it once they got it. Because of this, they need tech support. If you know your way around computers or media sources, odds are that you would be able to put your talents to use and find a job in tech support. Not only would you find a job that you would like, but you’d also be serving at the same time.
6. Shipping and packaging.
Although the Christmas season is coming to an end, there are still various companies that are looking for overnight packers or shipping specialists right now. These jobs usually pay better than others because they are during the night. You would work the graveyard shift getting packages ready and shipped, but you’d also make good money in the meantime. If you prefer not to talk with people and deal with customers, this might be a good job for you. Most of the time, you’re allowed to simply plug in your music and get the job done.
Although these jobs aren’t the only ones on the market, they do seem to be constantly looking for workers in these fields. Submit your application, find something that you would find enjoyable, and try it out. If it doesn’t work for you, you can always try something else later.
