Taxes. Everyone hates them. Other than the feeling that Uncle Sam is an extortionist, taxes can be complex, confusing and as exciting as watching two snails cage fight. Accountants are nice despite the fees they charge. However, accountants aren’t necessarily qualified to handle every aspect of your taxes, particularly aspects that can land you in tax court. Furthermore, it might not be the IRS that initiates court proceedings but rather you. And like any other situation where you’re dealing with the judicial system, it’s not a good idea to represent yourself, no matter how well-spoken you think you are. Though

Dealing with the IRS and lenders during a personal financial crisis can test the nerves of even the most patient individual. When these sort of institutions decide you owe them something, it’s nearly impossible to come out of the fight unscathed. Both the IRS and the financial industry have nasty reputations when it comes to playing dirty and not relenting in their pursuits. Many of those who find themselves within their sights suffer in more ways than financially and materially. By retaining a skilled attorney, you are afforded a better chance of winning your battle with the IRS or creditors.

Follow your gut. It’s a piece of advice we hear constantly. It also ranks high on the unwritten list of “worst advice of all time.” It’s tempting to follow instincts and hunches, but it rarely produces optimal results. The simple fact is that gut feelings are often under-informed or occasionally misinformed entirely. Even when one of these instincts works out, it’s the result of luck rather than some magical intuition. This is obvious to most of us, yet instincts still guide a number of important business decisions. For much of history that was necessary because there was no other option.

The Man from U.N.C.L.E Review

Feedster
%%POSTLINK%

This movie follows a Russian and American Spy as the try and find a nuclear bomb. The acting in this movie is usually the stereotype of the race of person it’s showing and that’s great. Henry Cavill is awesome as the American, Armie Hammer is just great as the Russian, and every other character does there job. They all do fine as their characters and there are no moments of weak acting. Now to the plot. The idea is a cliche one that unfortunately has no means of originality, but hey it’s a fun ride to watch a spy thriller.

Big Trouble in Little China Review

Jack Burton and his troubles are my pleasure. John Carpenter goes full throttle in this funny action-packed comedy that sticks out in the crowd. Kurt Russell kills it as the awkward hero in this film, and kills as many bad guys as the laughs he invokes doing so. The supporting cast is just as quirky as he is and they elevate the drama, comedy, and action. Now the special effects in this film are amazing and just add to the enjoyment of this movie. Overall, Bug Trouble is an undisputed classic for me and I give it 4/5 stars.

This is one of the most influential and powerful films ever put to screen. It’s got a perfect cast, brilliant writing, and phenomenal execution. First, we have to talk about the acting. The actors involved are just are fantastic and grimy as the world around them. While there are many who like Brad Pitt the most, I liked Edward Norton instead. He’s a tortured protagonist who can resonate with anyone watching the film because of his dark satirical view of the world. This is a brutally real film that challenges the modern world in a way that’s all too real.

Well, this was one of the funniest movies I’ve ever seen. There’s an easy answer to why this is so. Magnificent 7 embraces the fact that it’s a generic western movie and capitalizes instead on its characters. This has one of the best casts of any film of 2016. Denzel Washington gave a tour de force performance as a lawman seeking vengeance. I didn’t think he would get to the emotional level that he did reach. Now the supporting cast like Chris Pratt and Ethan Hawke also give great performances. Chris Pratt takes on a darker but equally enjoyable roles

The Witch Review

The Witch Review: One of the best horror films in recent memory, I think the Witch deserves every ounce of praise it got. 28 Days Later Review

28 Days Later Review: A modern cinematic zombie classic, 28 Days Later uses originality and intensity to craft an extremely compelling story. First off, we have a great cast of actors and a great set of characters. Cillian Murphy gives a lurid performance in the lead role. He starts off as someone who won’t make […]

It Comes At Night Review

It Comes At Night Review: Since the first trailer, I was hooked into this film and I hate that it’s taken me so long to watch it. However, it didn’t disappoint. Joel Edgerton is one of the best actors alive and he kills it in this world. We get to see a fully realized character […]

28 Weeks Later Review

28 Weeks Later Review: Tonight’s late right Review is the sequel to the beloved 28 Days Later. I, unfortunately, have to admit that it disappointed, but it still had a surprising level of quality. Leatherface Review

Leatherface Review: Let me get two things out of the way: this is a sequel to Texas Chainsaw 3D and it’s doing, critically, what Curse of Chucky did for the Child’s Play series for the TCM series. With a 67% on Rotten Tomatoes, I was pumped to see this. It actually became one of my […]

Suspiria Review

Suspiria Review: With the Halloween season kicking into full effect and the upcoming release of its 4K restored version, I thought why not review Dario Argento’s arguably greatest film, Suspiria. Needful Things Review: Continuing my horror only review streak since it’s October season with the exception of movies I see/review in theaters. The Final Girls Review

The Final Girls Review: I promised more horror movie reviews so let’s get to this one. Now this film is a smaller one, like Trick ‘r Treat, and again is underrated. Night Breed Review

Night Breed Review: This is Clive Barkers, Hellraiser, juggles horror, slasher, fantasy, drama, and romance in one movie. The slasher element is perfect in every aspect.
